Girling, FRM (Financial Risk Manager) and of the NY Bar, was previously global co-head of operational risk at Nomura, where she was responsible for the development of the global operational risk and business risk strategy and the design and implementation of a program for the identification, assessment, control and mitigation of operational and business risk. She has recently been named by Op Risk and Compliance magazine as one of the top 50 faces of operational risk for the decade.
Girling has over fourteen years international experience in the global securities industry and twenty years experience in project management, training and management consulting.
